The Way

The Way – For pilgrims this image is significant. The scallop shell with the yellow arrow is used to guide pilgrims along the path to Santiago. The shell is a metaphor, its lines represent the different trails leading to the tomb of St. James. The rocks symbolize the release of burdens, sins or challenges, you must walk at least 100,000 km to receive a Compostela, and the walking sticks, well those are survival tools if you are walking 500 miles.
